Day 14: Rhododendron Forests and Stunning Mountains: The Most Beautiful Views Yet...

Watched a little magic in the kitchen where some rice flour, corn flour, pinch of baking powder, sugar, and a bit of water turned into the most delicious and unusual "fried" cornbread I've ever tasted! What a delight when stuffed with sauteed veggies :)  Hung out with the pack animals, watched women crush rocks into gravel, and then set off on the MOST beautiful landscape so far. All ten of the postcards I got yesterday depicted the views I would see today. Vast valleys of 60-80 foot tall Rhododendron trees framing a range of 26,000 + foot tall snowy mountains. Wow, wow, wow. And can you believe the Montana Grizzly t-shirt we saw :)
